Legendary soul singer Aretha Franklin has announced her plans for retirement this year. Franklin talked to Detroit’s WDIV Local 4 about her new album, which is expected to be released in September, and her plans to retire after its release. “I must tell you,” Franklin says, “I am retiring this year.”
