Widespread Panic Honor Bernie Worrell in Red Rocks Opener (jambands.com)
Friday night, Widespread Panic kicked off their three-night run at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the venue that has become synonymous with Panic’s summer tours. The show marked the band’s 53rd performance at the amphitheater and their 50th consecutive sold-out gig, for which they hold the Red Rocks record. Panic’s first show at the venue had them on a 1991 bill with Blues Traveler and Acoustic Junction.
