Just hours before the news broke of David Bowie’s death, a tribute concert at Carnegie Hall was announced to celebrate the late icon’s impressive catalogue. The tribute, as the event’s page states, has now become a memorial. Taking place March 31 at Carnegie, Hall, the concert is being put on by City Winery’s Michael Dorf and will feature The Roots, Perry Farrell, The Mountain Goats, Cyndi Lauper, Jakob Dylan, Bettye LaVette, Heart’s Ann Wilson Robyn Hitchcock and more surprise guests, along with longtime Bowie producer Tony Visconti.
