The surprising collaboration between Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers scheduled for the halftime show at Super Bowl XLVIII on Feb. 2 just got a lot more intriguing.
Speaking to reporters following the Guitar Center Drum-Off finals on Jan. 18, Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith revealed that the band wasn’t focusing on Mars’ material or their own for the show — instead, they’ve been working up a live version of Led Zeppelin‘s ‘Dazed and Confused.’
