Warren Haynes has penned a loving tribute to Steely Dan co-founder Walter Becker, who passed away on Sunday. Though Haynes never shared the stage with Becker, he knew the mult-instrumentalist/arranger and had a few meaningful conversations with Becker over the years. Through his work with the Allman Brothers Band and Levon Helm, Haynes also performed with Becker’s Steely Dan partner Donald Fagen a few times during the years.
