Foreigner Reunites with Lou Gramm, Al Greenwood and Ian McDonald for the First Time Since 1980 (UCR)





The much-anticipated reunion of four of the five surviving original members of Foreigner took place at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theatre in Wantagh, N.Y. tonight. Singer Lou Gramm, keyboardist Al Greenwood and multi-instrumentalist Ian McDonald joined Mick Jones and the band’s current lineup for a three-song encore.

Lou Gramm Hints at Bigger Involvement in Foreigner's 40th Anniversary Tour (UCR)




It doesn’t sound like it’s 100 percent official yet, but Lou Gramm says he’s talked “at length” with former bandmate Mick Jones about reuniting with Foreigner for multiple dates on the band’s 40th anniversary tour — and it sounds like he could be onstage for awhile.
