Gurindha Chadha's new film Blinded By the Light tells the story of a British teenager of Pakistani descent whose life is altered when he's introduced to the music of Bruce Springsteen. In a rare move, Springsteen allowed 12 of his songs to be used in the soundtrack. They range from some of his biggest hits to live renditions to a song Springsteen has never released. On the turntable this Sunday....The Horseshoe Curve

The Horseshoe Curve is Trey Anastasio's sixth studio album. It was his second release on his record label, Rubber Jungle Records.  The Horseshoe Curve is entirely instrumental apart from three cries of "Burlap Sack & Pumps" on track 3 of the same name. This album features the ten-member dectet that toured from 2002 to 2004. 

The album was primarily recorded at The Barn, Anastasio's recording studio near Burlington, Vermont, and Trout Recording in Brooklyn, New York. "The 5th Round" and the title track were recorded live during the band's summer 2002 tour.

The Grateful Dead Announce New 'Giants Stadium' Box Set (jambands.com)

Encompassing shows for 1987, 1989 and 1991, the new Grateful Dead Giants Stadium box set will be available on Sept. 27, 2019.

To get Deadheads excited for the comprehensive release, the band has released a new pro-shot video of “Uncle John’s Band” from 6/17/91, “one of only two shows in the Grateful Dead’s archive recorded to 48-track analog tape, providing spectacular and unprecedented audio quality.”

Stone Cold Rhymin is the debut album by rapper Young MC. It was released in 1989 on Delicious Vinyl and was later re-issued by Rhino Records. The album reached No. 9 on the Billboard Top Pop Albums chart. The third track, "Bust a Move", was Young MC's biggest hit and is his best-known song, reaching No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topping the charts in Australia. His follow-up single, "Principal's Office", reached No. 33 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was also nominated for "Best Rap Video" at the 1990 MTV Video Music Awards.
